Sunil Sanghvi is a member of the Paine Schwartz Partners Food Chain Advisory Board.
Mr. Sanghvi recently retired as Senior Partner in the Chicago Office of McKinsey & Company and is now a Senior Advisor to the Firm. He continues to lead McKinsey’s Center for Agricultural Transformation and Food Systems (MCAF) after previously leading McKinsey’s Global Agriculture Practice. He serves chemicals and agriculture clients on a wide range of strategy, organization, and operational improvement efforts.
Mr. Sanghvi first joined McKinsey in 1986, served for a year at the World Bank in 1991-92, and then rejoined McKinsey. Since then, he has split his time between working with private sector clients on growth and performance improvement, poor country governments on end to end ag transformation, and donors on their ag development strategies.
Mr. Sanghvi is, or has been, the lead advisor for the World Economic Forum’s New Vision for Agriculture initiative, a board member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, a member of the NY Council on Foreign Relations, and a member of the Advisory Committee for USAID.
