Adrian Cox is a Chief Transformation Officer at Paine Schwartz Partners.

Mr. Cox has over eight years of experience in the food and agribusiness sector. Prior to joining Paine Schwartz, Mr. Cox led the global citrus category and strategic supplier relations at Apeel Sciences, a postharvest company that specializes in improving produce freshness and reducing waste. Before joining Apeel, Mr. Cox was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Company based in the US, Australia and South Africa. He was a leader in the firm’s Transformation practice, working across the food value chain in both developed and emerging markets. Mr. Cox partnered with management teams in over 20 countries to deliver complex growth and operations transformations, including advising private equity clients on post-acquisition value creation.

Mr. Cox is a graduate of the University of Cape Town, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. He was raised in Cape Town, South Africa.
